As Hiro and others seize upon offers to join rival company pinehearst industries, Peter is forever changed by a meeting with its shocking founder - Claire and her mom Sandra team up to save Meredith from Doyle’s twisted grip!

• Impressed by his sudden ruthlessness, Villains Knox and Daphne bring Hiro — among others — into the Pinehearst fold, and give him an assignment.

• With Angela and the Company paralyzed by recent events, Peter goes directly to Pinehearst for answers, and irrevocably changed by the shocking meeting.

• Meanwhile, Claire and her mother Sandra attempt to free Meredith from the thrall of escaped Villain Doyle, who has the ability to take mental and physical control of others.

• Later, Nathan brings Tracy to Suresh, hoping he can shed light on the surprising origin of their abilities.

Several Heroes stand at major crossroads, facing personal decisions that could redefine who’s “good” or “evil” – Claire attempts to take down her first new Villain!

• Armed with Noah’s old files and a taser, attempts to take down her first target — Stephen Canfield, a Level 5 escapee with the ability to create black holes — unaware that others are closing in.

• Peter flees from all the death and destruction in the future, only to grimly discover how deeply the experience has changed him.

• Seeing a future where nearly everyone has abilities, a world destined for destruction, Peter resolves to prevent this earth shattering end — whatever the cost — and so takes on a dark, unwieldy ability to save the world — gambling (wrong) that it won’t destroy him and everything he loves first.

• After allowing Angela’s (Cristine Rose) half of “the formula” to be stolen, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) set out to uncover the identity of the Villain who hired Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) — and must consult with the person who knows these rogues best…Adam Monroe (guest star David Anders).

• After the bloodbath at the bank, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) resolves to get rid of his new partner.

• Meanwhile, determined to be a hero, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) hits the road after one of the Villains from H.R.G.’s old files.

• Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) gives in to impulse. Linderman (guest star Malcolm McDowell) and Molly (guest star Adair Tishler) return in unexpected manners. A new romance ignites between two Heroes.
